Good luck to the Players and our new management team for Saturdays trip to Banstead Athletic in our First League game in the Combined Counties Premier League for 2010/11.
Our new manager Mr Mark Gilberthas a full strength side for Saturday's game away at Banstead."he said he is obviously looking forward to it and we have about five or six new players this season.

"I'm confident. But for us it's all about playing nice football and getting the families involved. I don't want hit and hope football; I want football people are going to enjoy watching."So why not come away and make the short journey to Banstead Merland Rise ground and support the Town.

Following the resignation of Ali Rennie last week HTFC is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Gilbert (Gilly) as our new 1st Team Manager.  Gilly is stepping up from the Reserve Team Manager’s position and will be assisted by Graham Rashbrooke (Rashers) and coach Daren Banner.  Chairman Rob Cortazzi said “the decision to appoint Gilly was approved by the Management Committee and we are very confident he will prove to be a success in his new role.  Gilly is a very popular manager around the Club and his enthusiasm and winning mentality is very evident”.   

 

Gilly told the Club website “I am absolutely delighted to be given the 1st team position and look forward to the challenge ahead.  HTFC is a fantastic club and I would ask the fans to get behind us and support what we are trying to do here”.

 

Everyone at HTFC would like to thank Ali for the work he has done over the last three years and wish him success in whichever direction he takes in the future.

Suburban League 2010/11
Several new Clubs in the League including South Park, Corinthian,Whitehawk ,Redhill and Lingfield.
Banstead Athletic, Chessington & Hook, Chipstead, Cobham, Colliers Wood United, Corinthian, Corinthian Casuals, Crawley Down, Crowborough Athletic, East Grinstead Town, Epsom & Ewell, HORLEY TOWN, Horsham YMCA, Lingfield, Merstham, Molesey, Oakwood, South Park and Whitehawk.

Town will compete in the Southern Division of the Suburban League which begins on August 21st 2010.
