Great weekend at Horley
Weekend Results Roundup
13th/14th October 2012
With the exception of a close FA Vase game at Rye, where the First Team lost 3-2, Horley teams had a great weekend this weekend.
The weekend began well with the Under 16 (Saturday) team beating top of the table Lower Beeding/Handcross 4-0 in the League Cup fixture at Oakwood School.
Next up on Saturday afternoon were the Reserves, at home to Lingfield in the Suburban League wher they won 7-0 and dominated completely.
On to Sunday morning, where the Under 17 Colts had the early kickoff at Oakwood and beat the Epsom Eagles Serpents 5-0 in the League Cup.
The Under 13s won 3-2 in the MSYML League Cup away at Worthing Dynamos Youth.
And the Under 16 (Sunday) boys won 0-8 away at Plumpton in the Mid Sussex League.
The Under 15s had a tough Epsom and Ewell League Cup tie against last years winners Warlingham, but sailed through 3-1 in a physical encounter.
The Vets were away to Meresfield in the Surrey Cup and managed a good away win 0-5.
The Under 17 Reds lost 3-1 away at St Helier.
