Juppy reaches 500
Club Captain, Anthony "Juppy" Jupp, was last night presented with a silver salver to recognise his fabulous achievement of 500 appearances for Horley Town FC.
The occasion was a Surrey Senior Cup tie against AFC Wimbledon in Kingston.
The presentation was made by Club Chairman Mark Sale who said "This is a fabulous achievement for Anthony. The club really appreciates his dedication and his skills, which have made this achievement possible."
Horley put up a good show going in 0-0 at half time, but were well beaten 4-1 by a strong Wimbledon side that included a number of League 2 regulars.
