Well done to the under 11's squad that entered two teams into the recent Horley Town Football Club Summer Tournament, it was a fantastic day, enjoyed by all involved even though the weather was horrendous at the start of proceedings.
Under 11's Red just missed out on the semi finals, but under 11's Blues went through with two awesome performances against two very confident Chesworth Rovers sides.
The pick of the goals from Connor Brown and William Claydon set up a frantic semi final against a Raw Skills side that just pipped them to the post by one goal to nil.
Well done to all the boys in the two squads!
Horley Town 3rd played their second senior fixture on Sunday against a very experience Glendale side. Horley settled the better of the two teams and played some great football especially in the centre of midfield and took the lead midway through the half with a great strike by Reece Crofts from a free kick some twenty five yards out beating the keeper high in the top corner. Reece almost made it two nil this time with a long range strike from open play only to see his shot hit the bar.
Tattenham Rovers 0 - 3 Horley Town
Epsom & Ewell Youth Football League Under 10's
Saturday 28th September 2013
Horley Town kept up their 100% record with a fine away win at Tattenham. They went into the game with no subs available due to illness and travel problems.
Horley soaked up early pressure from Tattenham, but soon took control of the game, a fine goal from Tommy Sheeran made it 0-1 at half time.
Horley Town 3rd Team played their third league game of the season away to AFC Earlswood on Sunday 21st on an excellent pitch at Friends Provident in Dorking.
Horley started the game positively creating one or two early opportunities but failed to capitalise on them and payed the price when Earlswood went one nil up midway through the first half. Taking the lead began to inspire Earlswood and it wasnt long before they doubled their lead just after the half hour mark.

The Youth team last night won through a tight FA Youth Cup 3rd Qualifying Round tie against Aylesbury. They are due to face Chipstead FC of the Ryman Youth League in the 1st Round next month.
Horley started well with Jack and Conor Bishop combining well down the left, stretching the Aylesbury defence at every opportunity. Some good interplay between Hardwicke, Burbidge, Barry and Hogan put Barry clear on the right but unfortunately no one was able to convert his dangerous cross.
But with less than 15 gone, a seemingly innocuous long ball to our left back area was recovered by the Aylesbury winger following a slip by Scott Hiley and the Horley defence were too slow recovering whcih allowed the Aylesbury centre-forward to hammer a shot from 12 off the underside of the bar to beat George Branton.
