CCPL - 5th Dec 2009 - Horley Town 1 Hanworth Villa 1

Town took on Hanworth Villa at a very wet New Defence in a League game. This was the third meeting between the two clubs the previous two games had been away with Horley winning one nil in the cup and four one in the League. Horley were shocked at the news that star goal keeper James Wastell had left the Club for Chipstead Football Club in the Ryman League.

Epsom & Ewell 2 – 0 Horley Town

Horley travelled to Merland Rise the home of Banstead Athletic to play Epsom & Ewell in a local derby League game. Horley were out to put in a better performance than the home game when they lost six nil to Epsom a few weeks ago. Horley had a great first half and were on top for the first 45 minutes. The first chance fell to Mark Gilbert after on five minutes with a header. A minute later a long throw from Chris Weller found Adam Pullen whose over head kick went just over the cross bar. A few moments later and Chris Weller tested the home keeper Paul Borg with a long range shot. The teams went in at half time with the score still nil nil.
