Horley up to 4th as they extend winning run
Tue Sep 11, 2012 @ The New Defence
Horley Town 4 - 3 Dorking
Horley went one down after 15mins, before a certain pen - Pullin's man was climbing all over him - on 43 mins was converted by Weller straight down the middle. The teams went into halftime at 0 - 0.
Then a Danny Guscott special opened the second half scoring for Horley on 48. Parker followed up 4mins later when he converted a Harris cross for 3-1.
But Dorking weren't finished and some sloppy passing by Horley gave the ball away twice on 54and 61, to allow Dorking to claw it back to 3-3.
But on 75, Adam Pullin clinically finished a move which started with a Poplett free kick to Parker on the edge of the box who neatly laid Pullin in. He still had work to do and skirted 2defenders before smacking it in off the far post with his right.
Horley saw off thereaming quarterhour to send them up to 4th in the table behind Egham, Guernsey and Molesley.
Bring on Seaford in the FA Vase on Saturday.
