The Ground

The New Defence has been the home of Horley Town FC since 2003. And what a fine venue it is too, with a floodlit pitch, and dominated by an impressive clubhouse building. There is a covered area immediately in front, with three rows of seats flanked on either side by the dugouts. In addition, bar and function facilities overlook the pitch from the upper floor of the building and provide an excellent elevated view through large double-glazed windows.

The Peter Freeman Suite is the Club's main function room. It is available to hire for private functions, including weddings, birthday parties, anniversaries, social events, corporate events and training sessions, etc.

We are to be found in the Court Lodge area of Horley. Our full address can be found on our Contacts page. The ground is situated to the rear of what was formerly Court Lodge Comprehensive, on Court Lodge Road. Access is through the school grounds. A sign marks the entrance.
