All soccer coaches should :-
- have the necessary qualities, competence and confidence to instil desirable attitudes, skills and understanding of the game of Association Football
- foster the development of creative, imaginative techniques and ensure that all footballers develop a wide range of techniques
- promote the necessary levels of fitness for the game
- inspire players to develop physial and mental strengths to the maximum of their potential
- cultivate persistance, patience and commitment
- be responsible for promoting a disiplined enthusiasm for the game of football and for fostering and maintaining the highest standards of honesty and integrity
- experience, as a prerequisite for acceptance into the profession, specific employment training, as is the case in most well developed football nations
- have the necessary characteristics, know-how and experience to cope with their responsible task of dealing with young talents or practicing professionals in an intelligent, safe and highly professional manner
