Town welcomed back goal keeper James Wastell and forward Tom Thomas to the New Defence in a dress rehearsal for next weeks Cup Semi Final.In the first half Horley just could not find their feet and were

out played by Bedfont.After three minutes Jamie Risebrow broke free but his shot was easily saved by the Bedfont keeper Preedy.This was followed by a Town free kick which went over the cross bar.With fourteen played Michael Smith took a free kick which took a deflection off the defender and the Bedfont keeper reacted to it and saved it.In the sixteenth minute the writing was on the wall when they broke on the right hand side and shot and hit the upright.A few minute later Bedfont again broke free and this time the shot went just wide of the upright.The teams went in at half time with the score still nil nil.After five minutes in the second half Adam Pullen broke free but fired just wide of the upright.With nine played Bedfont broke on the far side and shot and scored into the bottom corner of the net.With thirty left John Eldred and Michael Death were brought on as subs and off went Lee Brown- Ford and Michael Smith.Four minutes later while Town were still trying to sort themselves out a cross from the right found the Bedfont forward unmarked and he scored at the far post to make it two nil.This was followed by James Wastell pulling of a good save with seventeen left.With thirteen left a foul on Adam Pullen went unnoticed by the referee and Bedfont broke and lobbed James Wastell to go three nil up.A minute later and Tom Thomas replaced Ben Herdman and then Horley started to wake up and play some attacking football.In the last five minutes Town tore at Befont with shots from Adam Pullen and Tom Thomas before a cross fro John Eldred found Clive Piller who fired his header home.Three minutes into injury time and Michael Death was pulled down in the penalty box and he dusted himself down and took the penalty and scored (See the goal on U Tube) Town's second goal of the night, to make the final score three two to Bedfont.
