Town win away to Sandhurst Town 1-0

Mark Gilbert scorers again for Town
 
With Town playing their fourth game in a week the team was changed again and were with out skipper Danny Guscott in the sunshine away at Sandhurst Town
 

who were in sixth place in the League and had beaten Town four one.

Town put in a good solid performence which produced another three points and nine out of the last twelve and our third clean sheet in four games. Town started well and were on the attack from the start. After three minutes defender Anthony Jupp did a fantastic tackle as Sandhurst went on the attack. After seven minutes Sandhurst were awarded a free kick on the edge of the box but the shot hit the cross bar and bounced to safety.

This was followed Mark Gilbert putting a good ball through to Adam Pullen whose shot was saved at the second attempt by the home keeper.Next up Adam Pullen put Michale Death Sandhurst thenbroke and shot over the keeper and hit the cross bar.In the closing minute a good move from Micheal Death saw him cross to Adam Pullen who put John Eldred in and his powerful shot was saved by the keeper at the second attempt. The teams went in at half time with the score nil nil. After four minutes and a Sandhurst player went down in the box but the referee only gave a corner.With seven played Michael Death was replaced by Nathan Jupp up front for Town.This was followed by JJ getting fouled and the Sandhurst sub got booked.With fifteen played Jamie Risebrow was replaced by Darren Tidy.

Two minutes later and Adam Pullen broke on the right and his shot was palmed away for a corner for Town.Then Natchan Jupp then played Mark Gilbert in and his shot ruled along the line and out for safety.With seven left Mark Gilbert saw the home keeper of his line and colly lobbed the keeper to score his third goal in three games and send Town one nil up.Three minutes later and Mark Gilbert broke into the box again and shot just wide of the upright.

In the last minute Mark Gilbert got up well again and hit the cross bar.Adam Pullen was then replaced by Rhys Brown
