Dorking 1 - 3 Horley Town

This was Town fourth meeting with Dorking this season having drawn away in the FA Cup and drawing at home in the League and beating them at home in the FA Cup.

A few more changes to the starting line up but on a very poor pitch it was Town who started better against the team bottom of the League.

Town were put under pressure After seven minutes Dorking broke on the right but Town keeper Simon Lookwood got down well and saved at the near post. After two minutes Adam Pullen broke into the box but he was pulled down in the box and the referee awarded a penalty. The penalty was taken by Darren tidy who scored into the bottom of the corner of the net despite the home keeper getting a hand on it (See Horley utube for the goal). Dorking went on the attack but the shot was nearer the corner flag than the goal. With seventeen played a great ball into the box by Darren Tidy saw Adam Pullen shot parred round the post for a corner taken by Darren Tidy.

From the corner Lee Bryant hit his shot over the crossbar.Dorking went on the attack and both JJ and Austin Essam both did fine covering tackle to keep Town in front.Three minutes later and Jamie Risebrow set up Mark Gilbert whose fine shot was saved on the line by the home keeper.Town put on more pressure with a good shot from Adam Pullen which again the home keeper saved.

With eight minutes left Adam Pullen beat the defender and the keeper only for his shot to go just wide of the upright. In the last minute of the game Dorking broke on the right and beat Simon Lockwood to the ball and Dorking scored to send the teams in at half time with the score level. In the second half Town found it hard to settle.

Dorking had a early shot which Simon Lockwood turned round the post This was followed by Dorking shooting over the cross bar from close range. With twenty three left Darren tidy was replaced by Rhys Brown up front for Horley. Two minutes later and Jaime Risbrow had a shot saved when he shot from outside of the area. This was followed by a Dorking attack which saw the Dorking forward head over the cross bar from close range.

Then a good move from Adam Pullen saw John Eldred first have a shot saved on the line by the home keeper before his second shot hit the side netting. With nine minutes left a long through from Adam Pullen saw Mark Gilbert's shot rebound of a defender to Jamie Raisbrow who shot and scored Town second of the night to put Horley two one up.A minute later Rhys  Brown had a header go just over the cross bar. This was followed by a Jamie Risebrow cross which found Mark Gilbert whose shot for the second game in a row hit the cross bar. Then it was Mark Gilbert who supplied the ball to Jamie Risebrow who shot at goal but the keeper got down well and saved.

A minute from time and Adam Pullen got pulled down in the box again and this time Mark Gilbert steped up to take the penaly and he scored his fourth goal in the last four games (See the penalty on U tube) In the last minute Adam Pullen was replaced by Lee Thompson. This gave Town twelve point out of the last fifteen.
