Town gained a great three points against third placed Camberley Town with a Kyle Hough goal after two minutes to register their third victory against Camberley this season.

Town were with out first team goal keeper Ian Chatfield who was injured and midfield Adam Pullen and the suspended Ben Herdman. Against the third placed team Town put in a fantastic team performance to win one nil. Town got the perfect start after only two minutes when a long throw from Jack Poplett was fired home into the bottom corner of the net by top goal scorer Kyle Hough. With five played a good cross from Jack Poplett saw Kevin Lock get his shot on target but the keeper saved well.With ten played keeper Joe McLoughlin got down well and saved on the line at the near post.With eighteen played Camberley were awarded a free kick on the edge of the Town box and the ball wen through the wall and Joe managed to save it at the second attempt.With twenty one played John Eldred did his first goal line clearance.With twenty five playe adit was Liam Cox turn to save on the line for Town.Next Town went on the attack and Anthony Jupp put Kevin lock through but again the keeper saved.With thirty five played Camberly broke free and hit the upright and the ball bounced to safty.With forty played Jack Poplett broke free of the defence and shot but agin the keeper did well with the save.Town went in at half time one nil up.The second half started with the wind getting up.With ten played John Eldred cleared on the line again and put the ball out for a Camberley corner.With fourteen played Camberley ran through and with only Joe to beat fired wide of the upright and in to the stand.With twenty played Camberley tried to clear the ball and hit their own upright. (See Horley Town U tube site) With twenty two played another good Town attack saw Kyle Hough set up Kevin Lock but he just failed to connect with the ball. Next the injured Liam Cox was replaced with the returning Chris Weller who had had a run out in Reserves on Tuesday.With thirty one played Camberley attcked but Joe was up to the job and tipped the ball over the cross bar.Next it was Tom Winsor turn to put in a great covering tackle at the back to keep Town in the game.Camberley then scored but the Assistant referee already had his flag up for off side and the goal was disallowed.With fifteen left Mithun Nayee was replaced by Nathan Jupp.With ten left a great run down the wing by Kyle Hough who saw Nathan Jupp run into the box he crossed and Nathan fired the ball goal bound only for it to go just wide of the upright.One minute into extra time and Jack Poplett was replaced by Michael Constable. The referee then played ten minutes of extra time.Which saw Luke Regetti get booked for Town and the Camberley Town player pick up a booking and player of the match!!! John Eldred twice cleared on the line to send the home fans home happy after a gat win.A good referring performance but he does need a new watch.
