Horley Town v Maidenbower C/Red

Horley Town started this game with a goal in the first few minutes from Luca Vicelli-Willcox and with Horley Town putting pressure on Maidenbower, all the action was inside their half. After a goalmouth scramble, Charlie Lansdown managed to thread the ball through and score the second goal to make it 2-0 at half time.
In the second half, Charlie Whiteside in goal made two excellent saves. The boys showed off some fantastic passing through midfield which led to Harvey Banner scoring the third goal. Again, with Horley Town putting the pressure on, a cross from Luca Vicelli Willcox found Toby Giraldo in the box who slotted home the fourth goal. Luca Vicelli Willcox then rounded off a great performance by scoring the fifth goal to end the match at 5-0 to Horley Town .

Horley Town v Three Bridges Amber

This match saw the boys play in very wet conditions but they started well and created chances in the first few minutes of the game. Charlie Lansdown hit the post and Taylor Whelan shot just wide. The Three Bridges goalkeeper had to be alert and he made some good saves in the first half.
The second half saw more of the same, but with a lot of changes, the boys found it hard to get in their stride. It took one moment of magic with a fantastic pass from Joseph Marshall in defence to Toby Giraldo in midfield to Jack Carey up front who crossed it to Charlie Lansdown who then chipped the goalkeeper to score the only goal of the game.

Horley Town v Furngate Youth

Horley Town suffered their second defeat of the season giving away a penalty in the last minute of the game.
It was a scrappy first half for Horley Town who struggled to to get into their usual passing mode. Taylor Whelan did well in goal and Harry Westlake hit the post at the other end.
Furngate put pressure on in the second half and Horley Town responded with some solid defending from Joseph Marshall. Then both Toby Giraldo and Charlie Lansdown got back to deny Furngate two clear goalscoring opportunities. Charlie Whiteside in goal made some excellent saves to keep it at 0-0. Unfortunately for Horley Town, there was a handball in the box in the last minute and Furngate went on to score from the penalty.

Horley Town v Perrywood Leopards

Horley Town had to play at their best in this match against a much improved Perryside side. The boys quickly settled into their usual passing routine and Toby Giraldo opened the scoring after some fantastic passing from midfield and a final assist from Charlie Lansdown.
Perrywood came back into the game at the start of the second half scoring to make it 1-1. It was a very exciting match with end to end action. Charlie Whiteside came on as a substitute to score after a clever pass from Harvey Banner to make it 2-1. Harvey Banner then chipped the goalkeeper to score the 3rd goal and finish the game at 3-1.

Horley Town V Oakwood Black

It was another great passing performance by Horley Town as they notched up another victory against Oakwood Black winning 6-0.
Charlie Lansdown quickly opened the scoring,and after a clever chip by Toby Giraldo to Luca Vicelli-Wilcox, Luca then scored to make it 2-0. Yet again, Joseph Marshall defended very well and helped Harvey Craze in goal to have a quiet game. With all the action at the Oakwood goalmouth, Luca Vicelli-Wilcox then scored his second goal of the game to make it 3-0. Just before half time, Toby Giraldo scored to end the half 4-0.
Oakwood defended better in the second half but could not stop Taylor Whelan scoring from his own corner kick!! At this stage, the boys swapped positions with Charlie Lansdown going into goal and Harry Westlake playing up front. Harry Westlake made the most of it and went on to score the final goal of the game to make it 6-0 to Horley Town.
